Living with Stress can exhaust your vital energy, affecting the quality of your life. Stress causes shallow breathing, which can lead to irritability, frustration, and eventually chronic fatigue.
Acupressure releases tension from the stresses of everyday life and creates relaxation, harmony, and calmness.
In the next video, you’ll learn two important points for relieving stress, tension, and anxiety. I’ll show you where they are and how to press them.
I’ll also introduce the Acupressure Training Circle. This is an online class where I teach you all about the essentials of Acupressure. We start with the Meridians, the body’s healing energy pathways. You’ll receive weekly videos to download, so you’ll have your own healing video library.
Be sure to keep reading below the video to learn more about how Acupressure relieves stress, and to find links for further resources for your health — an article, videos, and more.
After you watch the video and begin to learn Acupressure, you can also check out the Acupressure Training Circle. There, you can watch a special video that starts with images to uplift and teach you. You’ll learn, month by month, to gain healing benefits in the Acupressure Training.
Many people turn to unhealthy habits, such as smoking, overeating, and alcoholic drinking to counteract stress and tension.
Instead, you can use Acupressure Point Therapy to manage difficulties in a positive way. Acupressure Points relieve tension, pain, trauma, and burnout. You can use them yourself — anytime, anywhere. They heighten the body’s vital life energy and increase health and well-being.
Acupressure strengthens resistance to disease and promotes wellness by relaxing the body and relieving stress. It will enhance your life and help you feel better.
When these special points are pressed, using gentle but firm finger pressure, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of both the blood and the body’s life force, or Chi. This stimulates the body’s natural self-curative abilities and aids healing.
How Does Acupressure Relieve Stress?
Tension tends to concentrate around the Acupressure Points, which are also called pressure points, trigger points, or Acu-Points.
When a muscle is tense or tight, the muscle fibers have contracted. This is due to the secretion of lactic acid caused by fatigue, trauma, stress factors, chemical imbalances, or poor circulation. This results in the muscle being in spasm or chronically tense.
As an Acupressure Point is held, the muscle tension yields to the finger pressure, enabling the muscle fibers to elongate and relax, blood to flow freely, and toxins to be released and eliminated.
The increased circulation also brings more oxygen and other nutrients to the affected areas. This increases the body’s resistance to illness and promotes a longer, healthier, more vital life. When the blood and bioelectrical energy circulate properly, there is a greater sense of harmony, health, and well-being.
Using the power and sensitivity of the hand, Acupressure Points are effective in relieving stress-related ailments and in preventive health care.

Using Acupressure & Yoga Together
You can also combine Acupressure Point Therapy and Yoga Therapy to expand your self-healing practices and reduce stress. Acupressure and Yoga are both ancient healing arts that were developed in Asia over 5,000 years ago.
Acu-Yoga is a method I developed that combines Acupressure with Yoga postures. It uses full body postures, which press specific Acupressure Points. Acu-Yoga also includes therapeutic yogic breathing, dietary therapy, healing visualizations, and more to address common ailments and achieve well-being.
